The Elder Scrolls Roleplay Community
Join a server with hundreds of other players at the same time, in a community of thousands. There are no NPCs; every shop owner, jarl, bandit, and adventurer you see are real people with their own stories.
Experience an immersive, realistic, and lore-friendly take on Skyrim with a fully player-ran economy, government, and story.
Every storyline is emergent, created by the players in a fully realized sandbox, governed by a suite of custom scripts and mods to simulate what life would be like in Skyrim for the average person on Tamriel.
You must earn gold by learning a trade, or hunger may force you into a criminal life just to survive. You can become a master in one trade, or sacrifice that for novice skills in multiple professions. You must rely on interacting with others to get what you want — no one person can do everything on their own.
There is no XP grinding; you choose your proficiencies at character creation to help players focus on the roleplay, not the gameplay. Over time, you can earn additional proficiency by doing activities, like completing a semester at the Mage's College, or apprenticing under a master blacksmith.
Serve or even one day become the Jarl of a hold. Become a carl and own a home, paying taxes in return for your service to your liege. Become the chief of a castle or town, organizing your levies and local militias to fend off attacks or join your liege in wars. Challenge rulers in honorable combat, and with the support of the moot, become a ruler yourself.
Break the law and find yourself in the dungeon. Pay fines, serve time, or lose your head if your crime is severe enough. The justice system can be barbaric and cruel, but it makes every hostile action have real weight. Ask yourself if the risk of getting caught for whatever offense is worth it before committing.
The bottom line of any heavy roleplay server is to provide a possibility-rich environment to allow emergent and organic events to take place within the mechanics and rules given. You could find yourself an innocent victim of the justice system, giving you the drive needed to seek revenge. You could fail your journey, but not without providing content to everyone else's story.
If you wanted a serious, lore-accurate text-based roleplay experience in the world of Skyrim, you've come to the right place.
